Just a note of
interest;

Since I received my Inspection Authorization in 1982 I have observed that most IA Renewal Seminars do not train IAs on the FARs related to the Inspection Authorization.

In 1990 I developed the only seminar to teach the FARs IAs need to know to stay out of trouble with the FAA.  Since 1990 I have trained over 135 mechanics to obtain their Inspection Authorization, 99% passing first time.

 What is represented in this website course encompasses most of the elements for obtaining and renewing an Inspection Authorization

Time to renew your IA Certificate?

You can renew it at home, work, or in a hotel room on the road. There is no time limit for course completion. Renewing your Inspection Authorization is as simple as an 8 hr. renewal course. You will review key FAA regulations and procedures for Mechanics. You will reinforce your knowledge and even learn things you may not know. By following our airworthiness flow-chart when making airworthiness decisions should assure that you will never violate an FAR.

You can complete it at your leisure and convenience any time during the "renewal time period" which runs from April first to the following March 31.

When you have completed the course, you will be able to print a "Completion of Training Certificate" which you then submit to the FAA for renewal of your I A certificate.
